Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly Intermediate Care Team.
This is a part time role (28.5 hours) to be worked Monday to Sunday.
You will offer support to the qualified therapists at the Jean Heyes Reablement Unit at Leigh Infirmary and may be required to work in the community.
In the event of staffing gaps, and at the discretion of the therapy or ward leader, you may also be required to support the healthcare support worker team.
You must hold either the NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (from a recognised training provider) or the NHS accredited Care Certificate. We cannot accept the certificates from the short online courses as they are not NVQs.
It is essential for this role that you have the ability to independently travel across the borough to assess, formulate therapy plans and deliver therapy interventions for patients in their own place of residence where required.
Please be advised this post is not eligible for sponsorship as it does not meet the salary threshold.
