About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting a Celebrity & Influencers Executive to join WWF-UK. In this role, you’ll help us engage, recruit and build relationships with celebrities, influencers and digital creators who can help amplify our message and inspire more people to take action for nature. You’ll support the delivery of celebrity and influencer activity across campaigns, events, media moments and fundraising activity, helping to identify opportunities, research talent, coordinate outreach and maintain strong day-to-day relationships. Working closely with senior colleagues, you’ll play an important role in making sure our celebrity and influencer activity is well organised, well informed and delivers impact. You’ll also help maintain clear records and tracking, monitor digital trends and identify new opportunities to help us reach different audiences in creative and engaging ways. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in influencer marketing, talent engagement and digital culture, who is organised, proactive and excited by the role high-profile voices can play in building support for nature.

Skills and experience

  • Essential
    • Experience working in a communications, marketing or digital environment
    • Experience supporting influencer, creator or celebrity campaigns, including outreach, coordination or content delivery
    • Strong interest in influencer marketing, relationship building, social platforms and the role of digital communications in reaching new audiences
    • Experience identifying, researching and undertaking due diligence on celebrities, influencers, creators, agents and publicists
    • Strong organisational skills, with experience managing information, tracking activity and maintaining clear systems and processes
    • Experience monitoring social media trends and activity across platforms including Instagram and TikTok
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting pitches, briefing notes and social media content
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work at pace across different projects and campaigns
    • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to work with a wide range of colleagues and external contacts
    • Commitment to WWF-UK’s mission, values and ethical standards
    • Experience working with high-profile talent, creators or their teams
  • Desirable
    • Understanding of how different audiences engage across different digital platforms and communities
    • Interest in gaming and gaming culture, particularly where gaming communities connect with climate or nature issues
    • Experience supporting launches, events, fundraisers or media moments involving celebrity or influencer activity
    • An existing network of celebrity, influencer or creative industry contacts
    • Experience working in a charity, campaigning or purpose-led organisation

This is a UK based contract, and you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer sponsorship and any offer of employment will be subject to evidence of your Right to Work in the UK. This role is hybrid with a minimum 40% of your contracted hours spent at our beautiful UK head office, the Living Planet Centre in Woking, Surrey, where you’ll hot desk among trees and gardens.
