Programme Coordinator Fixed Term contract for 10 months The salary for this role is £37,581 per annum Hours: 35 Location: Woking GU21 4LL/Hybrid Working This is a UK based contract and as such, you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK. About the role We’re excited to be recruiting a Programme Coordinator to join our Climate Solutions team at WWF-UK. In this role, you’ll coordinate key outputs of the Environmental Crime Financial Toolkit project, manage external communications, and support the development of new funding opportunities. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of this innovative initiative. You’ll bring the following skills and experience, helping us drive forward our mission to restore nature and tackle climate change. Minimum criteria • Experience of bringing together a wide range of stakeholders and creating a culture of collaborative working. • Experience in supporting the development of communications with all appropriate stakeholders on technical/non-technical matters, issues and ideas. • Experience in the conservation, development or research fields. • Experience or understanding of the NGO or environmental sector. • Experience of fundraising, or the ability to quickly learn the key aspects of the role Benefits, rewards & location The salary for this role is £37,581 per annum. We also offer a full benefits and rewards package including: * Annual leave starting at 26 days a year, rising one day each year to a maximum of 31 days plus bank holidays * Flexible working options * 7.5% employer contribution to pension, increased to 10% with employee contribution. * Training and development opportunities * Regular wellbeing initiatives. This role is hybrid with a minimum 20% of your contracted hours spent at our beautiful UK head office, the Living Planet Centre in Woking, Surrey, where you’ll hot desk among trees and gardens.
