WWF-UK is the leading global environmental charity, dedicated to protecting and restoring nature for future generations. The WWF-UK Impact Committee plays a critical role in supporting the Board of Trustees by assessing, challenging, and shaping WWF-UK’s work across various domains including science, programmes, partnerships, policy, advocacy, and communications.

We are looking for individuals with deep expertise and fresh perspectives to join us in addressing today’s global environmental challenges. As a member of the Impact Committee, you will contribute to strategic decision-making at board level, ensuring our work is credible, inclusive, and effective.

You should have strong professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • International business (commodities, energy, food sector, sustainable finance)
  • International politics or policy
  • External communications and media
  • Brand and public positioning
  • Safeguarding and risk management
  • International development or conservation programmes
  • Artificial intelligence and emerging technologies

Previous board experience is helpful but not essential, as we provide a comprehensive induction into our strategy and governance, along with a buddy system from within the committee.
