About the role Were looking to recruit a Partnership Operation Manager to join our Partnerships team and help halt the decline of nature and reverse its loss by focussing on building operational, finance and risk management capacity into the wider team to ensure the division remains on track to meet their financial and non-financial KPIs. As Partnership Operation Manager, you will analyse financial performance and present forecasting results to support strategic decision making. You will work with the Partnerships Director to lead the process for drafting the annual forecast and reforecast, while reviewing overall team expenditure too. You will also oversee the risk management register to mitigate risk as well as collaborate with the legal team to monitor partnership risk and update contracts. Important will be the ability to act as a key point person for cross organisational initiatives that represent partnership interest. This includes the rolling out of a new CRM system so that it is embedded and delivers to team needs, leading on internal and external events, such as stewardship events, away days and managing consultancies. Were looking for someone with: Strong knowledge of project management tools and finance reporting tools excel, Gantt charts, risk management frameworks. Solid experience of financial management and reporting ideally in a large not for profit. Familiarity with contracts and contract management. Experience of utilising databases (e.g. for CRM purposes). Excellent planning, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong numerical literacy and attention to detail.
