Key Responsibilities:
- To grow the future legacy income of World Vision through building relationships with some of our longest serving supporters and asking them to consider leaving a gift in their will.
- Following up with our supporters who have expressed an interest to convert them to pledgers.
- Thanking our sponsors and ensuring they are getting the best experience, keeping them informed and updated.
- As an active Christian, this role offers you the opportunity to integrate your Christian faith and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations.
Job Purpose:
The role is for you if you have an engaging warm phone manner and a passion for excellence in making a difference to the lives of the children we serve. You should have a good level of written English and be results driven.
The role isn't for you if you are not comfortable being on the phone and have not had previous telemarketing experience in either sales account management or customer service.
World Vision has over 100,000 supporters around the UK, and this job focuses on our supporters who have been supporting us for over 10 years and really love sponsoring a child and helping our cause. This role involves mainly thanking our sponsors and ensuring they are getting the best experience.
