Purchasing Coordinator

Purchasing Coordinator
We are seeking an Experienced individual to join our team as a Purchasing Coordinator, where you'll be entrusted with overseeing the purchasing process for a category of products valued at over €10 million. Your primary objective will be to secure the best prices for our organisation while ensuring timely delivery of orders.
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Purchasing and will be in communication with the Category Management, Marketing, Accounts and Warehouse departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lower-level data maintenance – Update MRP profiles
- Daily Purchasing –order placing, backorder list, expediting, maintenance of info
- Promotion stock and new product data maintenance
- Low stock / Late purchase order reporting and chasing
- Chasing confirmations and special orders
- Monitor and keep stock levels in main warehouse and shops to a minimum
- Shop range maintenance
Additional:
- Link with Product Department, promotion planning and new product data maintenance
- Link with CSC and Salesforce
- Link with warehouse and shops
- Provide support to Key Account Buyer
- Assist with analysis of shop stock and strategies to reduce losses
- Monitor the shop stock profile and core assortment
