Learning & Development plays a vital part of Würth's culture and the success of the work force. The Product Trainers are on the front line of up-skilling the work forces knowledge to ultimately increase revenue and sales as well as provide some of the best advice to our customers. The successful candidate will have an inspiring, steadfast and determined personality. Previous experience in a training position is a must as well as the ability to design, produce & deliver training topics and content to a professional standard, as well as to have a brief knowledge of automotive tooling. You understand the importance of sales and ensure all training activities are focused on being successful in sales.

This is without losing sight of the correct content that partly already exists and partly needs to be (re)developed.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver product training for existing and new colleagues on a monthly basis that supports the company strategy.
  • Development of product related (digital) training content such as e-learning, videos, webinars, live streaming and use of the Würth Learning Management System.
  • Liaise with the product management team to support the launch of new products into the sales force as well as product updates.
  • Live product demonstrations to end users, face to face and online.
  • Administration of all training activity; annual training calendar linking with the company strategy, registration of attendance, planning & organisation, testing and reporting.
  • Setting up communication plans with key stake holders in the organisation to ensure the learning strategy aligns with company strategy.
  • Ensuring company culture is lived by example.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of market & products in the Automotive trade (preferable with some hands-on experience but not essential).
  • Experience in developing and delivering (product) training.
  • Competent in technology and continuously looks at new ways to deliver and improve digital training.
  • A sales background with good knowledge of translating products to sales.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and in writing) and presentation skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Excellent time & project management skills.
  • Ideally some experience in video editing and streaming software.
  • Experienced in MS Office, especially in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A dynamic, enthusiastic & hands on personality; you are used to working hard, aiming for results and working proactively.
  • Full time availability, valid driving license & willingness to travel (position is located at head office in Erith, London).
