Python Software Architect / Engineer - £100K in Southampton

Our client is a proptech Service as a Software (SaS) company that automates property

management workflows (compliance, maintenance, lettings and tenant support) through

an AI assistant that can handle up to 80% of admin tasks autonomously.

We are looking for a Python Architect / Engineer to help them to lead the short and medium term development and define its direction to close the gap between the cloud. software and the vision.

Key job responsibilities:

We are looking for an hands-on architect/ back-end developer who is passionate about:

• Helping engineers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage Cloud (Azure)

• Architecting the macro-architecture of our set SaaS products and shared-services to be cloud optimized

• Working as a technical leader alongside technical leadership & product management.

• Providing deep software development knowledge with respect cloud architecture, design patterns and programming

• Advising and implementing Cloud best practices (preference: AWS)

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience of large-scale software development with recent coding experience in Python.

• 3+ years of experience of Cloud-native application architecture

• Master degree in software engineering or equivalent experience required (edited)
