The Role

Are you obsessed with football? Do you live and breathe the excitement of the beautiful game? We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Senior Account Director to lead a flagship, multi-year partnership with our client within the world of football. This is a unique hybrid role for someone who is as comfortable driving reactive, organic social content as they are delivering major integrated brand campaigns. You will be the driving force behind a fast-paced, global account, working on everything from TV and OOH to innovative product launches. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established SAD or a hungry Account Director to step up, take ownership of a significant piece of business, and make a real impact. If you’re ready to combine your professional expertise with your personal passion for football, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Lead the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the account, acting as a key client contact.
  • Drive the end-to-end delivery of a full 360-campaign toolkit, encompassing TV, OOH, social media, retail, and digital assets.
  • Own and execute the organic social media strategy, overseeing multiple agency teams across markets to deliver engaging and reactive football content throughout the season.
  • Spearhead high-profile campaigns.
  • Oversee and coordinate with partner agencies, including our sister agency Hogarth and their animation production teams, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop the master campaign toolkit for global deployment and adaptation.
  • Contribute to the B2B side of the business and provide oversight on various projects across the account.
  • Support and mentor a Senior Account Manager, fostering their growth and development.
  • Drive financial stewardship: review of budgeting, scope management, working alongside the Business Director to achieve revenue growth.

What we’re looking for

  • A genuine, demonstrable passion for and deep knowledge of football – you must be able to "speak the language" of the sport and its fans.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Account Director, or you’re an ambitious Account Director ready to take the next step in your career.
  • A strong hybrid skillset, with significant experience in both organic social media management and delivering large-scale integrated brand campaigns.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced agency or brand environment.
  • Exceptional client management skills, with the ability to build strong, trusted relationships.
  • Confidence in managing creative development, strategy, and production processes.
  • Experience managing external agency partners and multiple project stakeholders.
  • A proactive, energetic, and hungry attitude, with a desire to take ownership and run a significant piece of business with oversight.
  • Experience working with retail accounts is a strong advantage.

We believe the best work happens when we’re together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That’s why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office an average of four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.
