What You\’ll Do

As our Junior Commercial Analyst, you\’ll be the go‑to expert for all things financial analysis related to our client accounts. Your day‑to‑day will involve:

  • Building the Future: Developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to forecast revenue, plan capacity, and manage resources for our diverse client portfolio.
  • Unveiling Insights: Preparing compelling monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that reveal key commercial metrics and client performance.
  • Driving Profitability: Diving deep into client profitability, identifying opportunities for improvement and strategic growth.
  • Budgeting for Success: Supporting the creation of client budgets and meticulously monitoring performance against them.
  • Spotting Opportunities: Analysing client contracts to identify financial risks and unlock new opportunities.
  • Strategic Partnering: Collaborating with our commercial and account management teams, providing vital data for pricing negotiations and contract renewals.
  • Shaping Processes: Contributing to the evolution of our commercial processes, making them more efficient and effective.
  • Ad‑Hoc Heroics: Tackling diverse analytical challenges as they arise, always ready to provide rapid, insightful data.
  • Ensuring Accuracy: Working hand‑in‑hand with colleagues to uphold the highest standards of data accuracy and consistency.

Who You Are

You\’re a sharp, detail‑oriented individual with a foundational understanding of finance and a keen eye for business. You\’re ready to make an impact and grow your career within a global leader.

  • Educated: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experienced: You bring 1‑2 years of experience in commercial or financial analysis, ideally within a fast‑paced services industry.
  • Analytical Powerhouse: You possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of dissecting complex data.
  • Excel Wizard: You\’re an advanced Microsoft Excel user (think pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas are second nature).
  • Data Savvy: You\’re comfortable working with large datasets and ideally have experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Communicator: You articulate complex financial information clearly and confidently, building strong relationships across teams.
  • Team Player & Self‑Starter: You can thrive independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Organized & Meticulous: Your attention to detail is impeccable, and you can juggle multiple projects without missing a beat.
  • Financial Foundation: You have a solid grasp of basic accounting and financial principles.
