Who we’re looking for: Reporting into the Head of Delivery, we are looking for a Project Director. Working in partnership with the Client Leadership team, you will be comfortable with senior client engagement and the coordination of multiple workstreams managing budgets across communications, media, technology, and data. The engagement will be a combination of hands-on project management and program coordination across workstreams. You will be responsible for delivering a series of projects across clients XXX. With a minimum of 8+ years’ experience, you will be used to working in a supportive but challenging, fast-paced environment and relish the prospect of taking ownership of the projects you are engaged on. A confident, clear communicator who will develop senior relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Ability to direct teams and peers in a constructive, solution-focused manner. Experience in developing high-performing project teams and ability to evaluate and mentor underperforming team members through constructive and supportive approaches. Future-focused mentality, always looking to have a solution and plan to deliver. Experience with increasing efficiencies through team collaboration and evaluation. Commercial awareness.
What you’ll be doing: Role responsibilities include:
- Facilitating end-to-end project management, from high-level activity planning and brief initiation to final delivery.
- Crafting project approaches alongside practitioners – utilising your knowledge in different methodologies.
- Detailed project planning; timing plans, dependencies, and risk identification.
- Origination of SoWs up to a value of £3-5M+.
- Project estimation and resource/team profiling in consultation with project leads and department heads.
- Risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Daily status/scrum management and task prioritisation.
- Resource management: liaison with RM team on requirements across agency skill base, including Creative, Strategy, Experience Design, Tech, Development, and Data.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers.
- Progressing workflow with relevant departments, status and activity reports compilation and upkeep.
- Financial management of projects. Budget management, time and cost reconciliations, burn, and proactive engagement on potential issues.
- Creative review coordination and meeting management.
- Progress/trafficking and internal stakeholder management, including partner agency engagement.
- Regularly assessing the performance and areas to improve process, ways of working, skills, and knowledge of the residing account.
- Able to mentor, direct others, own and implement standards of PM methods.
- The development of templates, documentation, and application within the process, always looking to create consistency and efficiency across the department.
- Supports with the sales & pre-sales process and commercial activities to help shape future engagements, including proposals/pitches.
- VML process adherence/implementation.
