Location: London – Hybrid (3 days per week)

Reporting to: Head of Finance

Role type: Permanent / Full-time

Your responsibilities:

  • Monthly Accounting & Reporting
  • Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Own designated OPEX lines, with clear monthly reporting and forecasting.
  • Stock & Audit
    • Manage stock valuation across 3PL partners.
    • Co‑lead the annual audit and reconcile physical counts with reported valuations.
  • Supplier Management & Cash Flow
    • Manage the financial relationship with our largest supplier.
    • Oversee PO – delivery – invoicing reconciliation.
    • Complete monthly supplier statement recs and support cash‑flow forecasting.
  • Retail & Revenue Reconciliation
    • Work with Retail and Demand Planning to manage retailer invoicing and reconciliation of sales and promotions.
    • Lead collection follow‑up and AP reconciliation, raising claims where needed.
    • Perform monthly retailer statement recs, highlighting discrepancies across revenue, collections, costs and promotional terms.
  • Finance Function Development
    • Help build a lean, scalable and efficient finance and accounting function to support future growth.

    What you bring:

    • Proven finance experience – part‑qualified or qualified by experience in finance functions, with strong accounting knowledge, hands‑on experience with accounting systems and experience with consumer goods.
    • Excellent Excel skills are also useful.
    • Commercial acumen – passion for understanding what drives growth and profitability.
    • Requires excellent attention to detail and ability to unravel complex accounting queries.
    • Positive, growth mindset – can‑do approach in fast‑paced, rapid‑change environment, with robustness and accuracy of numbers.
    • Excellent communication skills – ability to deliver clear guidance and provide context to the business; strong collaboration skills across the global team.
    • Strong organisation skills – plan and organise work efficiently and effectively, taking ownership of tasks and embracing new challenges.
