As part of the wider Global Asset Protection (GAP) team, Private Clients look after the personal insurance needs of both mid net-worth and high net worth individuals. These include the decision makers of our corporate clients, numerous members of the Sunday Times ‘Rich List’ and a host of familiar public names. Our service is of the highest and most confidential nature.
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team. You will have an excellent client focus and a proven track record for delivering the highest levels of direct client service, with the ability to analyse situations and provide optimum solutions for clients.
The Role
Reporting to the Client Account Management Leader, and working as part of an established team of Account Managers, the successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients with accountability for retention and account development. You will manage and develop existing client relationships and grow the portfolio, providing the appropriate advice and subject matter expertise required to deliver a class-leading service and ensure that we have the right insurances in place to fulfil our clients’ demands and needs.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Develop a strong relationship with your clients, understanding their insurance needs and ensuring that these are fulfilled.
- Day to day client service, answering queries received directly from clients, cover advice on scenarios applied across entire insurance portfolio.
- Arrange additions/deletions of cover as required by clients.
- Preparing London market broking documentation including insurance market presentations and use of Willis systems and documentation.
- Negotiate favourable terms with insurers, whether on your own or working with an Account Executive.
- Ensure client retention targets are met, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities are fulfilled.
- Encourage new business referrals and recommendations from your existing clients.
- Always operate within the business procedures and requirements.
- Apply FCA operating principles and always work in accordance with Treating Customers Fairly.
- Manage and control your workflows, team working to ensure these are kept up to date.
