The WTW M&A Practice specializes in the provision of advice and insurance placement services to our investor clients. Our Due Diligence Advisory team focuses on the provision of pre-acquisition and pre-disposal insurance due diligence services, advising clients on the insurance and risk profile of companies they are seeking to acquire or dispose of.
The Role:
- To source and undertake project management and consultancy work in the provision of risk and insurance due diligence services for the WTW M&A Practice clients.
CLIENT - Relationship Management
- Seek, develop and maintain strong relationships with external client contacts and other parts of WTW.
- Seek opportunities for new business from external and internal client referrals.
- Manage communications between the client and the WTW M&A Practice.
- Understand the client’s business and project issues, needs and expectations.
- Seek to build trusted adviser relationships to generate repeat revenue opportunities across our M&A value proposition.
CLIENT - Project Management and Consultancy
- Undertake risk and insurance consulting and due diligence services to clients - including fee and scope evaluation, to execution and delivery of due diligence reporting through to coordinating WTW appointment and placement services.
- Manage projects effectively, to include leveraging broader WTW country and sector specialists to the benefit of the client.
- Access information from a variety of sources to allow collection/co-ordination of data at the outset of a project.
- Provide quality advice to clients.
- Identification and collation of data for inclusion into reports.
- Responsible for reviewing key contractual documents and peer diligence reports.
- Take ownership of projects, co-ordinating and where appropriate sourcing the core project teams.
- Provide proactive and enthusiastic service levels expected from client project teams.
- Act as a referral point for the resolution of client queries internally and externally.
- Delivery of assessment by means of a formal report, supplemented by calls and/or presentations as required.
PROCESS - Procedures/Compliance
- Take responsibility and ownership of the projects for quality and accuracy.
- To meet the WTW M&A compliance and administration protocols and requirements including file keeping, accurate reporting of management information, conflict management and confidentiality issues.
- Compliance with authorisation sign-offs and protocols.
- Working within FCA as required and WTW specific procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain time recording individually and ensuring this is done for projects where acting in lead role.
