The Crisis Management team within the Risk & Broking segment of WTW is looking for a professional to drive growth of our Sports & Contingency proposition globally. The role reports to the Head of Sports, and the successful candidate will have proven experience engaging with clients and prospects with accountability for retention and new business development.
They will manage and develop client relationships, grow the portfolio globally, and be responsible for targeting and converting prospects across all product lines within Accident & Health and Contingency.
The Role- Manage and expand existing client portfolio; identify new insurance and reinsurance opportunities.
- Develop and convert new business prospects across all product lines.
- Provide technical and market expertise to deliver tailored, profitable client solutions.
- Lead renewals, placements, and documentation with strong quality and compliance standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, markets, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure full adherence to WTW policies, regulatory requirements, and brand values.
- Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price, and placement strategies that meet the clients' needs.
- Ensure all relevant information is gathered in the preparation of annual renewals and endorsements on key accounts.
- Understand the clients’ business and risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service.
- Work closely and maintain relationships with key market and client contacts.
- Liaise with others to ensure compliant processing of contracts and contract certainty.
- Broke, or liaise with placing brokers to achieve agreement of markets where required and maintain diary/pending system to monitor progress.
- Comply with any external rules and requirements imposed on individuals performing their role at WTW.
- Promote WTW’s brand and values to enhance WTW reputation in the market.
- Extensive knowledge of the Accident & Health and Contingency market, including account management, broking, sales, and production.
- Experience navigating a global broker operating across multiple time zones.
- Demonstrate strong relationship, consulting, and negotiation skills.
- Proven experience working with retail and wholesale clients and stakeholders.
- Understanding of WTW global structure and multiple stakeholders beneficial.
- ACII qualification (or progress towards) is desirable.
