Description

The FINMAR team was established to support the rationalisation and performance improvement of Insurers writing specific Financial Lines coverages via WTW’s FINEX Global broking team.

FINMAR provides services (data analytics, carrier advocacy, pipeline management and reporting) to the selected Insurers, and through this, drives competition, performance improvements and improved market intelligence for the benefit of WTW’s Clients.

Since its launch in GB in 2011, FINMAR has been at the forefront of this type of service and now provides services in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America making it a global proposition.

FINMAR has developed system applications and supporting data environments to enable the delivery of insights critical to the Insurers and FINMAR alike.

Oversight of this activity is the responsibility of the technical management team, and this position is for a role in that team.

The Role

  • Understand all available data and the associated platforms.
  • Develop technical skills and business knowledge to ensure requirements are well understood, and solutions are appropriate.
  • Provide support and guidance for our support team to deliver continued improvement to products and services.
  • Ensure the expectations of key stakeholders are well managed.
  • Where required to meet urgent deadlines, or for certain complex activities, develop reporting products and transition them to the support team for ongoing maintenance.
  • Support a variety of IT projects.
  • Employ testing and auditing techniques to retain high level of data accuracy
