Description

We’re looking for a Aviation and Space Claims Handler to join our dynamic Aviation Claims Team within Claims Administration at WTW.

This hybrid role is based in our Ipswich office and offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across our global network including London, Mumbai, and other WTW offices as well as with clients, insurers, and other key stakeholders involved in the claims process.

The Role

As a Aviation Claims Handler, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality claims service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing aviation claims from first notification of loss through to settlement.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout the claims journey.
  • Ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds agreed standards and client expectations.

Collaborating with WTW’s global claims community to share knowledge and best practices.

Building strong relationships with clients, carriers, and external partners.

Qualifications

What you'll bring

  • Experience in handling aviation or complex commercial claims (level of seniority will depend on experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A client-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international environment.
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Preferably working towards the CII qualification
  • Preferably educated to A level standard or relevant industry experience
  • Strong understanding of claims processes and factors that impact settlement/loss.
  • Understanding of Lloyd’s and the London Market
  • Industry Compliance Awareness
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and complex tasks simultaneously.
