The Portfolio Management Team is responsible for the overall health, performance and strategic direction of our insurer panels.

This includes managing the end-to-end panel process, from onboarding new insurer partners and assessing strategic and commercial fit, through to regular performance and sustainability reviews.

  • Assist with the periodic panel performance reviews, using data, market insight and broker feedback to drive strategic recommendations on panel composition, insurer participation and portfolio optimisation.
  • Support the delivery of RFPs for FINMAR panels, evaluating insurer appointments and ensuring our processes and approach is best practice / fit for purpose.
  • Analyse data and use trading and market insights (via meetings with Brokers and Insurers) to understand and provide subject matter expertise on the overall health of the panel and its individual insurers.

Monitor insurer service levels, identifying the drivers of any underperformance.

  • Support insurers, where required, to improve analytics or provide guidance particularly in relation to the data services.
  • Assist with panel financial performance, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, accrual oversight and coordination with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and invoicing.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders and also insurers and insurer prospects where appropriate.
  • Support the management of the FINMAR contracts across panels, working closely with group legal and the insurers.
