You'll own the day-to-day central transfer pricing operations of a global, regulated business and lead its transformation: bringing in modern technology and better data, streamlining how work gets done, and leading a team known for insight rather than manual processing. It's a role for someone energised by change, confident leading people, and looking for genuine influence over the shape of a function — not just its upkeep.

We're modernising the way our Tax team works — replacing manual, fragmented processes with simpler, smarter and more connected ones — and we're looking for a leader to drive that change within Transfer Pricing while running a high-performing operational team. The role reports to the Global Head of Transfer Pricing.

  • Lead Transfer Pricing Operations
    • Lead WTW’s global Operational Transfer Pricing function, with responsibility for the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of the forecasting, execution, and compliance sub-functions.
    • Partner with business, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and govern intercompany arrangements and transfer pricing solutions, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, transfer pricing policies, compliance requirements, and operational execution.
    • Lead the Group’s global transfer pricing compliance program, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-substantiated filings and supporting analyses across jurisdictions.
    • Manage the delivery of the Group’s quarterly transfer pricing reporting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate, consistent, and reliable financial outcomes.
    • Partner with the Transfer Pricing Planning function to translate transfer pricing policies into scalable, technology-enabled processes and controls that are efficient, transparent, and compliant.
    • Champion innovation and continuous improvement, challenging existing ways of working and implementing new capabilities that improve operational effectiveness, governance, and resilience.
    • Establish and maintain a trusted, well-governed data environment that supports transfer pricing execution, compliance, reporting, forecasting, and decision-making through robust controls, data quality standards, and integrated technology platforms.
    • Enable the team to focus on higher-value activities, including business partnering, strategic analysis, and insight generation, by reducing administrative and transactional workload through process simplification and automation.
  • Drive Transfer Pricing Transformation, Data and Technology
    • Develop and lead the strategic roadmap for the Operational Transfer Pricing function, continuously assessing the end-to-end operating model to identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, enhance data quality, and leverage automation and technology.
    • Partner closely with Tax Transformation/Tax Process Owner, Finance Transformation, and technology stakeholders to ensure transfer pricing requirements are embedded within broader tax, finance, data, and systems transformation initiatives.
  • Lead and Grow the Team
    • Lead, mentor and develop a talented team — building depth and resilience and creating real opportunities for people to step up.
    • Work closely with the wider tax, planning, data and finance teams to bring the best capability into transfer pricing.

The Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of transfer pricing experience, ideally with both Big Four advisory and large multinational in-house experience.
  • Significant experience leading operational transfer pricing, reporting, forecasting, and global compliance processes in a complex multinational environment.
  • Technical expertise across intercompany services, revenue-sharing arrangements, and other complex intercompany arrangements, with the judgment to own key positions and leverage specialist input where appropriate.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and operational processes, including ERP systems, consolidation platforms, US GAAP principles, and journal entry processes.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex transfer pricing concepts and analyses clearly, simply, and effectively to a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success driving transformation through technology, automation, data, and analytics, including modernization of processes, operating models, and controls in tax, finance, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Strong commercial and strategic judgment, with the ability to balance technical, operational, and business considerations, prioritise competing demands, and focus resources on the highest-value activities.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to build high-performing teams, develop talent, delegate effectively, and leverage internal and external resources to deliver results.
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner across functions, navigate complex global organizations, and drive alignment.
