Description Summary: The Account Executive will manage and renew client credit insurance programmes, develop placement strategies, review existing client programs, prepare formal documentation, present at industry events, and collaborate with insurers, while supporting budgeting and new business initiatives.

The Role: The role is for an Account Executive within our Credit Risk Solutions Trade Credit team, based in Reading. This role will involve working in a team focusing on a broad base of UK and International Corporate and Financial Institution clients. Hybrid working to be considered.

  • Taking responsibility for client management; including placement strategy and expanding relationships.
  • Working with existing clients to review their existing programmes, presenting best possible solutions.
  • Completion of formal client documentation in accordance with the relevant compliance procedures; preparing broking documentation (e.g. confirmation of cover and endorsements).
  • Attend and present at industry events and conferences, when necessary.
  • Develop good working relationships and work closely with the main Insurers in the region.
  • Support the team in accurate budgeting, forecasting and tracking of revenue (including allocations).
  • Coordinating and streamlining management information for the team (income monitoring).
  • Contribute to delivery of our new business strategy and targets within the Global Line of Business.
  • Support new business initiatives to Corporates, Banks and other Financial Institutions.

Qualifications What you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in Trade Credit (both Whole turnover and Excess of Loss policies).
  • Knowledge of Receivables Financing, Captive Solutions, and Syndications would be beneficial.
  • Problem solving and decision‑making skills essential.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, oral & presentation) skills and interpersonal skills essential.
  • Must be able to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic team environment where lateral thinking, initiative, self‑motivation decision‑making skills are crucial.
  • Good use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the credit Insurance product suite and previous relationships with UK carriers preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle a large workload and prioritise work effectively.
  • Strong team player with good people and leadership skills.
