The role is for a Broker within the Credit Risk Solutions team, part of the Credit Risk Solutions (CRS) global business. The position focuses on coordinating, marketing, and negotiating insurance business in the London market for a variety of clients on a daily basis. The Credit Risk Solutions team is a market leader in Political Risk and Credit, with a global presence in London, New York, and Singapore. It serves a diverse client base including corporations, banks, funds, traders, and export credit agencies. The team specializes in structuring complex deals that help clients operate and invest in challenging international markets. With a broad global portfolio across industries such as renewable energy, manufacturing, defence, aviation, technology, and natural resources, the team encourages brokers to work across multiple sectors rather than specialize narrowly. This approach supports professional growth, skill development, and career advancement.
The Role: Some of your key responsibilities will involve:
- Broking
- Execute placements from Non-Binding Indication to confirmation of cover for a large variety of deals.
- Binding transactions for clients across multiple products including Political Risk, Comprehensive Non Payment (Contract Frustration/Credit).
- Putting together market submissions and understanding clients’ needs, and summarising market feedback accordingly.
- Developing new and existing clients, guiding them through the process from initial meetings and engagements to binding first policies.
- Structuring solutions for clients trading and investing in both OECD and developing economies.
- Preparation for market presentations to ensure client’s requirements best presented.
- Work with multiple stakeholders on projects within FS as and when appropriate.
- Operational / Portfolio Management
- Slips, endorsements and processing (new policies and regular endorsements).
- Updating the relevant monitoring tools/spreadsheets (premium/brokerage).
- Working with the accounts team to ensure timely production of invoices.
- Assisting with claims as and when required.
- Responsible for working in accordance with the WTW Client Excellence Model, and compliance with the WTW policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

- The role will be reporting to Senior Director, Credit and Political Risks.
Qualifications
- Eagerness and willingness to learn.
- Role would suit someone who prefers working in a high performing team environment rather than as an individual contributor.
- Understanding of insurance market dynamics and core processes.
- Develop/Establish relationships with underwriters, both Lloyd’s and company markets.
- Exposure to wording negotiations.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Experience of managing effective client relationships.
- Ability to interpret and use data optimally.
- Good understanding of compliance and applicable regulation.
- Highly organized and attention to detail.
- Good use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Foreign language(s) a plus but not a must.
