An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated Broker to join WTW’s Financial Institutions (FI) team within the Credit Risk Solutions (CRS) global line of business. Based primarily in London, this role will support the placement, marketing, and negotiation of complex credit and political risk transactions across the London insurance markets, while working closely with clients and WTW’s global network.

As a Broker within the FI team, you will support and execute a broad range of credit and political risk insurance placements for a diverse global client base, including corporates, banks, funds, traders, and export credit agencies. You will collaborate with senior colleagues, underwriters, and network partners to deliver tailored, market‑leading solutions across multiple industries and geographies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing insurance placements from non‑binding indications through to binding and confirmation of cover
  • Broking transactions across products including Political Risk, Comprehensive Non‑Payment (Credit/Contract Frustration), and Political Risk Programmes
  • Preparing market submissions, analyzing client requirements, and coordinating market feedback
  • Supporting and developing client relationships from initial engagement to first policy placement
  • Structuring solutions for clients operating and investing in both OECD and developing markets
  • Assisting with slips, endorsements, policy processing, monitoring tools, and invoicing workflows
  • Supporting claims processes as required
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders across the Financial & Specialty (FS) platform
  • Operating in accordance with WTW’s Client Excellence Model, compliance framework, and risk management standards

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Understanding of insurance market dynamics, core broking processes, and placement structures
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with Lloyd’s and company market underwriters
  • Exposure to policy wording negotiations and transaction documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage and support effective client relationships
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and utilize data effectively
  • Good understanding of compliance obligations and regulatory requirements
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Additional language skills (particularly French) are advantageous but not essential
