Description
Work location based in London/Cambridge with hybrid working, you will join the team Capital and Reinsurance Pricing Development Actuary. Develop the market-leading ISM (Igloo Standard Model), used by insurers and reinsurers around the world.
The Role
Develop the market-leading ISM (Igloo Standard Model), used by insurers and reinsurers around the world for capital modelling and reinsurance pricing
Work with clients and other partners to design, develop and implement new technologies and statistical techniques
Contribute to Igloo product development, working with the development team to shape the future of Igloo
Be at the forefront of stochastic modelling with a broad and growing variety of applications
Qualifications
What you'll bring
Newly or nearly qualified actuary or equivalent
Experience of reinsurance pricing or capital modelling
Demonstrable interest in coding and AI. Expertise in a coding language, preferably Igloo or Python
Excellent client relationship skills: ability to develop strong relationships quickly and maximize resources effectively to achieve goals
Proven success working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and self sufficient
Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment managing multiple deliverables
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong experience with applicant tracking systems
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a numerical based degree
