Our Retirement team work with some of the largest occupational pension schemes in the UK. Advising on both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes, we tackle complex challenges every day and make a real difference to active and retired employees across the country. Our work is vital and often very high profile. On our eight-week internship, you’ll do more than experience it – you’ll help us deliver it.

Responsibilities
Joining us for eight weeks, you’ll build invaluable real-world experience at the heart of our Retirement business. You’ll work with and learn from industry experts, while:
- Applying your education to a range of challenging live projects across our unrivalled client base
- Helping our clients understand and manage their pension risks
- Gaining a wide range of on-the-job experience
- Developing technical and consulting skills through a full induction and ongoing learning opportunities
- Building your understanding of the work we do and the future opportunities we offer
This is the perfect opportunity to understand what you could expect if you joined our trainee consultant programme the following year. Many of our interns return as permanent team members after graduation.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Eager to learn and contribute
- Good with numbers
- An excellent communicator
- Keen to solve challenging technical problems
- In your penultimate year at university
- On course to achieve a 2:1 degree in a numerate discipline or predicted 2:1 degree including A-Level Maths grade A/B or equivalent qualifications

We’re open to hybrid working for this role, which means blending working at home with at least three days in the office, collaborating with the people around you and learning from your colleagues.
