We’re hiring an Account Manager to join our Aviation team at Willis Towers Watson, working with global airline, aerospace, and general aviation clients. This role involves managing client insurance programmes, supporting renewals and new business, liaising with insurers, and delivering high-quality client service. Aviation insurance experience is preferred but not essential—strong client-facing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key.
This role is within the Aviation team at Willis Towers Watson, a specialized group focusing on Global Airline, Aerospace, and General Aviation risks. An exciting opportunity has become available for an individual to join our Aviation team as an Account Manager. The successful incumbent will assist on a portfolio of accounts handling all aspects of clients’ insurance programmes in a timely, technically, accurate and compliant manner.
This role will include dealing with new business enquiries, client renewals and broking. You will be focused on supporting and developing client relationships by providing quality technical administrative and service support directly to Clients and Insurers in support to Account Executives.
Qualifications
- While Aviation Insurance experience and knowledge of Aviation insurance markets and products is preferred, we are also interested in candidates looking to move across to this business area.
- Ability to negotiate premiums and coverage with insurers on behalf of clients.
- Confident in advising clients with the ability to engage, and form strong relationships.
- Good level of experience in a client–facing role, either supporting or managing an assigned client portfolio.
- Be able to work in a deadline driven environment.
- Be confident user of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have excellent organisational and communications skills.
- ACII qualified or studying towards is preferred but not essential.
