Key Role
To provide freight forwarding & logistics support to WTA Far North and WTA South West, completing the role in line with the current SLA.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete full multimodal operational responsibilities to ensure service excellence for all clients.
- Provide import and export customs clearance.
- Raise invoices and process purchase invoices in accordance with Company policy.
- Resolve customer and supplier queries as outlined in the SLA to ensure service excellence.
- Be available to attend client meetings (virtual or in person).
- Build relationships with approved suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
- Provide client pricing in line with pricing policies.
- Prepare tenders accurately and within defined timeframes.
- Provide data for business analytics as requested.
- Complete other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested.
- At all times represent and act in the best interest of the company, the shareholders and the employees.
- Work in accordance with the company values to maintain a positive environment with all teams across all departments.
Skills, Experience & Behaviours
- At least 3 years experience on a Multimodal basis.
- Cargowise experience (superuser knowledge preferred).
- Customs knowledge.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Agile and responsive.
- Ability to prioritise tasks being assigned from the named Companies.
Location: Hybrid with 3 days at our Manchester Head Office.
