About WST
World Snooker Limited is the commercial entity responsible for the commercial exploitation and promotion of professional snooker events and is the custodian of the sport’s commercial rights. Under new leadership since 2022, the World Snooker Tour is going through an exciting period of innovation and strategic growth. The Tour has developed a diverse calendar of over 20 events and nurtured a vast and committed audience of over 500 million viewers worldwide.

What You Will Be Doing
- Planning and project management: Account ownership for selected WST Partners. Manage the requirements and day-to-day requests from WST Partners. Develop strategic plans for the delivery of Partner rights. Leading on key partner meetings, from onboarding through to quarterly, mid and end of season reviews. Support forecasting and other P&L management activities.
- Relationship management: Mapping of stakeholder hierarchy at both the Partners and WST, ensuring regular and appropriate levels of communication. Facilitate agreed Partner review meetings, working with the wider Commercial team to demonstrate return on Partner investment.
- Performance and tracking: With the Partner, agree a set of objectives, and metrics to measure them. Manage (with the Head of Data and Insights) the tracking of performance against these metrics, and effectively communicate this insight to relevant Partners. Creation of success case studies, highlighting how WST delivers value to Partners.
- Rights utilisation delivery and activation: Active management of key deliverables through the implementation of a Partner Plan and strategic timeline, working with relevant WST departments. Host WST Partners during and outside of event periods, providing first class guest experiences. Proactively seek new opportunities to add value to Partners. Encourage the Partner to activate their rights in new and creative ways – particularly with the aim of developing the capabilities and value of the WST Partner Programme.
- Support the process of acquiring new Partners and renewals: Work with the Commercial Sales Team to support with Prospect conversions. Proactively explore upsell opportunities to current Partners.
- Be the WST Partnership Champion: One team - work cross-functionally across WST (and Matchroom Group) to push new opportunities and create positive business outcomes, working with our Partners to help achieve wider business objectives. Collaborate across the organisation to ensure awareness of Partnerships are top-of-mind for all employees, regardless of function. Explore, on an ongoing basis, opportunities to create and deliver further value to WST and to our Partners – particularly opportunities to deliver against company values and objectives. Be inquisitive - maintain a thorough understanding of the sponsorship marketplace, share industry trends, best practices in weekly Commercial Team meetings to maximise related opportunities with WST Partners.
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge: Understanding of the wider sports and entertainment market. Understanding of how commercial rights can be leveraged to deliver against partnership objectives. Understanding of commercial revenue sources of global rights holders within sport. Knowledge of snooker is a plus – but a willingness to embrace the sport is essential.
- Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in partner management, or alternatively three years' experience in consulting or comparative roles. Experience of working with 3rd party agencies.
- Skills and Aptitude: Inherently collaborative, dynamic and energetic team player. A proactive approach by thinking ahead and generating ideas. Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent organisational and planning skills. Competent understanding of Microsoft Excel and relevant management formulas. Has a personal ambition to learn and develop with an enthusiasm for a growth environment.
Additional Information
Deadline for Applications is Friday 19th June. Salary of £30,000 - £40,000 pa, including a structured bonus, depending on the candidate and experience. Location is London (Waterloo). Travel will be required, with reasonable notice.
