World Snooker Limited is the commercial entity responsible for the commercial exploitation and promotion of professional snooker events and is the custodian of the sport’s commercial rights. Our vision is to expand our global footprint and increase our portfolio of major events. That means making our flagship tournaments like the World Championship, Masters, and UK Championship bigger and better, enhancing our own-managed Tour Events like the Tour Championship, Players Championship and the Four Nations Series, and continuing to grow major international events such as the World Grand Prix in Hong Kong and the events we currently stage in mainland China.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the World Snooker Tour Marketing Team on a full-time, permanent basis, based in our central Bristol office. For the right candidate, remote working would be considered.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality motion graphics and animated assets for a range of marketing activities across social media, digital platforms, broadcast content, and partner channels. You will also assist in the creation of set graphics for live events, helping to bring the visual identity of World Snooker Tour events to life. This is a hands-on role ideal for a creative, organised, and technically skilled designer who is passionate about producing world-class motion design and branding work.
Key Responsibilities- Produce engaging and dynamic motion graphics content for use across the World Snooker Tour’s digital platforms, including social media, websites, and partner channels.
- Design and create animated assets for promotional campaigns, event marketing, in-venue screens, sponsor activations, and live broadcast graphics.
- Create and build graphic packages for event set designs, ensuring assets are delivered to specification and to deadline.
- Support broader graphic design needs across the business, including the production of static assets such as posters, web banners, advertisements, and partner marketing materials.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Digital, Marketing, Partnerships, and Broadcast to ensure creative alignment and brand consistency.
- Maintain and manage project files, adhering to organisational filing and naming conventions.
- Keep abreast of motion design and graphic trends to ensure output remains fresh, modern, and innovative.
- Occasionally support on-site at events for content creation, set graphic installation or content capture if required.
- Proficiency in motion graphics software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D or equivalent.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proven ability to create and deliver assets for a variety of platforms (eg. broadcast, digital, and social).
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and brand application across formats.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and develop engaging visual solutions.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience with video editing and simple colour grading a bonus.
- Knowledge of 3D motion graphics and rendering workflows desirable but not essential.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (Design, Animation, Motion Graphics) is an advantage but not essential.
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in a similar motion graphics or digital design role preferred.
- Interest in the sports and entertainment industry is highly desirable but not essential.
- Team player who is proactive, flexible, and comfortable collaborating across departments.
- This is a full-time, permanent position based in Clifton, Bristol.
- Some travel to events will be required (UK and international); evening and weekend work will apply when on-site. All reasonable expenses covered by World Snooker.
