The predicted salary is between 59400 - 72600 Β£ per year.

Our client is a leading investment manager who specialise in alternative assets such as assisted living, residential and social housing and education, with both UK and European Funds under management.

They are looking to recruit a Fund Controller who will be responsible for providing full financial oversight of one of their UK Funds reporting into the Finance Director for the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be involved in all areas of the fund finance management, such as financial and board reporting, tax structuring and compliance, managing all the investor queries and the local teams, participating at monthly and quarterly investor meetings.
  • Able to demonstrate experience of implementation of efficiencies identified within operational/ financial processes.

Any system upgrades/testing/implementation project experience is highly advantageous.

  • It's imperative you have substantial real estate fund experience (either in practice or commerce) as well also possess excellent knowledge / understanding of accounting fundamentals and regulations, be highly numerate and analytical.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience managing 3rd parties/administrators is a prerequisite.

Key Person Specification

  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team and being able to work in a deadline driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and be highly detail oriented and thorough.
  • Must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a minimum of 5 years pqe.
  • Degree qualified in accounting, finance or a related field an advantage.
  • Experience dealing with audit teams and managing an audit process.
  • Able to produce and present a high level of financial reporting to asset management, investment management, finance and the investment committee.
