We are working with a UK focussed Investment Management firm who are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their leadership team based in Central London. This is an integral business hire and exciting opportunity working with the CEO and board in a strategic and commercial role. You will be actively involved in growing their AUM via direct real estate investment and corporate M&A transactions.

Key Chief Financial Officer responsibilities include:

  • Execute complex business plans, strengthen and broaden relationships with equity / debt capital partners.
  • Take ownership of group reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance insight.
  • Lead treasury and capital management: debt strategy, lender relationships and covenant management.
  • Support transaction execution (asset and corporate), including structuring of funds and investment vehicles.
  • Oversee audit, tax and compliance, building efficient, well-controlled processes.
  • Drive and champion financial transformation, via data automation and AI.

Chief Financial Officer requirements:

  • Current CFO or Financial Director level experience, within the UK real estate market.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Strong track record in debt structuring, lender relationship management and treasury discipline.
  • Experience with fund structures and institutional capital frameworks; regulated environments (FCA would be advantageous).
  • Ability to drive operational efficiency through technology and process redesign.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and ability to lead and influence in a proactive and consultative manner.
