We are supporting a Pan-European Real Estate Fund Manager who is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join its finance team based in London, working directly alongside the Senior Management team. Please note this role requires somebody with experience working either for a property managing agent, real estate fund or investment manager, due to the nature of the portfolio you will work on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with all round bookkeeping
- Multiple Bank Reconciliations
- Maintain the Purchase Ledger
- Assist with any Credit Control as needed
- Assist with the preparation of service charge budgets
- Involved with the Audit, VAT returns and month end duties as required
- Utilising accounting software to ensure funds are allocated efficiently and accurately
Key Person Specification:
- Strong IT proficiency and data inputting skills
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Experience using a Property Accounting system is highly advantageous
- Commercially minded with the ability to interact with individuals across all areas of the business as well as clients
- 2-3 years working in an Accounts based role
- Exposure to a Real Estate environment would be highly advantageous but isn’t essential
- Degree qualified in accounting, finance or a related field
- Studying for a formal qualification (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) or have desires to in the future is highly advantageous
