Our client is revolutionising the Automotive industry and they are looking for a Integration Architect to join their team.
The Integration architect’s role is preparing Integration Architectures for enterprise landscapes covering application, middleware, Infrastructure and 3rd Party Services
Delivering architectural artefacts and ensuring that uniform enterprise-wide Integration design standards are maintained.
Creating reference architectures and updating EA repositories
Collaborate and guide solution / technical architects and ensure that the architectural principles and defined guidelines are being confirmed to
Participate in project reviews and validate that defined designs are being incorporated and delivered.
You must have previously led architecture implementations, worked at an enterprise level and be able to set up a design authority.
Strategy & Planning
•Design and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate systems and software.
•Ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
•Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers, other Systems Architects, and software development teams.
•Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities.
•Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.
Acquisition & Deployment
•Where applicable, design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
•Document the company’s existing systems architecture and technology portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives.
•Review new and existing systems design projects and procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and architectural plans.
Operational Management
•Confer with end-users, clients, or senior management to define business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure development.
•Model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models.
•Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement.
•Develop and manage a systems capacity plan.
•Develop, document, communicate, and enforce a policy for standardising systems and software as necessary.
Knowledge & Experience
At least 3 to 7+ years of relevant experience as an Integration Architect, on large and complex projects
Experience with IPaaS Software Delivery.
Enterprise Architect with proven solution architecture delivery history.
Experience in Integrating heterogeneous enterprise landscapes of On-premises, Cloud and 3rd Party Services.
Experience in Architecting / Designing solutions using Industry leading Integration platforms.
Knowledge and understanding of Cloud Platforms, Microservices and Containerization technologies.
Familiar with architecture principles and frameworks (TOGAF, IAF, Zachman, Gartner, etc.)
High level of competence in preparing Architectural documentation and presentations using Visio, ArchiMate modelling and using EA tools like Orbus, Erwin etc. is a plus.
Exposure to GDPR & retention policies is a plus.
