We're partnering exclusively with a well-established, growing fund administration business to find a Senior Systems Analyst to join their Technology Markets Applications team. This is a broad, high-impact role sitting at the crossroads of finance and technology, supporting client-facing teams, driving system configuration, and playing a key part in the ongoing improvement of a complex financial applications environment. If you have deep experience with private equity platforms, particularly eFront, and enjoy translating complex business requirements into practical system solutions, this is a role worth exploring.
What you'll be doing:
- Working closely with client-facing teams to gather and document requirements, scope enhancements, and configure the financial applications suite.
- Acting as a business analyst on projects, managing timelines, expectations, and stakeholder updates through formal meetings and project documentation.
- Providing third-level support for incidents and service requests, triaging complexity and ensuring timely resolution.
- Building and testing reports, supporting integration feeds, and contributing to automation initiatives.
- Reviewing and quality-checking changes made by colleagues, with a focus on junior team members.
- Mentoring more junior analysts and deputising for management on projects and BAU as needed.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
What we're looking for:
- Strong technical knowledge of financial services, ideally with private equity or real assets experience.
- Hands-on exposure to the eFront suite (eFront Invest and Investment Cafe), highly desirable.
- Proficiency in VBA, VB Script, JavaScript, Transact SQL, or SAS.
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
- Part or fully qualified in ACCA, ACA, ICSA, or a relevant IT qualification.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the business and with clients.
- A methodical, problem-solving mindset with a genuine interest in technology.
