WSR are recruiting on behalf of our respected client – an established and growing manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes.

Are you an experienced CIMA-qualified Financial Controller looking for a hands‑on leadership role within a forward‑thinking and values‑driven organisation? The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll lead the day‑to‑day financial operations, oversee a dedicated finance team, and play a key role in developing and improving systems, controls, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple entities
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Produce insightful management reports including KPIs, variance analysis, and project profitability
  • Manage ERP financial elements (Microsoft Business Central)
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash management
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with VAT, payroll, and pension requirements
  • Drive process improvements and support business growth initiatives

About You

  • CIMA‑qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in manufacturing
  • Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Business Central
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical ability
  • Confident communicator and collaborative team player
  • Highly organised and proactive in a fast‑paced environment
