WSR are looking for an Assembly Operator to join the team of our esteemed client based in Milton Keynes. Location: Milton Keynes Salary: Up to £30k Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 4:30pm. 3:30pm finish on a Friday Assembly Operator Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Assembly Operator to join our fire door manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying ironmongery and assembling doors onto frames, ensuring they are ready for shipment. Your work will be vital in maintaining product quality and meeting delivery deadlines. Assembly Operator Key Responsibilities: Install ironmongery components (hinges, locks, handles, etc.) on fire doors. Pre-hang doors onto frames with precision and efficiency. Safely operate hand and power tools. Perform quality control checks to ensure adherence to specifications. Collaborate with colleagues to meet production goals. Maintain a clean, organized workspace. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Assembly Operator Qualifications and Experience: No formal qualifications required. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions. Previous assembly experience is a plus but not mandatory. Physical and Environmental Conditions: Ability to handle heavy lifting (efforts are made to minimize this). Work in a noisy environment (ear protection provided). Key Soft Skills: Strong communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Efficient time management. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities. Certifications: A forklift license is advantageous but not required.
