Job Description

WSR are looking for an Assembly Operator to join the team of our esteemed client based in Milton Keynes. \\n\\nLocation: Milton Keynes\\n\\nSalary: Up to £30k\\n\\nWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 4:30pm. 3:30pm finish on a Friday\\n\\nAssembly Operator Role Overview:\\n\\nWe are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Assembly Operator to join our fire door manufacturing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for applying ironmongery and assembling doors onto frames, ensuring they are ready for shipment. Your work will be vital in maintaining product quality and meeting delivery deadlines.\\n\\nAssembly Operator Key Responsibilities:\\n\\nInstall ironmongery components (hinges, locks, handles, etc.) on fire doors.\\nPre-hang doors onto frames with precision and efficiency.\\nSafely operate hand and power tools.\\nPerform quality control checks to ensure adherence to specifications.\\nCollaborate with colleagues to meet production goals.\\nMaintain a clean, organized workspace.\\nFollow all safety procedures and guidelines.\\n\\nAssembly Operator Qualifications and Experience:\\n\\nNo formal qualifications required.\\nProficiency in using hand and power tools.\\nWillingness to learn and follow detailed instructions.\\nPrevious assembly experience is a plus but not mandatory.\\n\\nPhysical and Environmental Conditions:\\n\\nAbility to handle heavy lifting (efforts are made to minimize this).\\nWork in a noisy environment (ear protection provided).\\n\\nKey Soft Skills:\\n\\nStrong communication skills.\\nAbility to work well in a team environment.\\nEfficient time management.\\nFlexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.\\n\\nCertifications:\\n\\nA forklift license is advantageous but not required.\\nAssembly Operator Benefits\\n\\nLife insurance 3x salary\\nPrivate Health Insurance\\n23 days holiday (additional 1 day per full year employed increasing up to additional 5 days) plus Bank Holidays\\nFree onsite parking\\nDiscretionary bonus scheme\\n \\nPlease click ‘APPLY NOW’, or call the WSR Team at (phone number removed) for more info.\\n\\nWe appreciate the time and effort invested in your application.
