At Panda, we keep the country moving by delivering reliable waste and recycling services that support local communities and businesses. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Widnes team, operating skip and RoRo vehicles across the local area. This is a hands‑on role for a driver who takes pride in safe driving, good customer service, and keeping their vehicle to a high standard.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operating HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Delivering, exchanging, and collecting containers across customer sites
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
  • Ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and road laws
  • Working safely at all times and following site, transport, and road regulations
  • Providing a professional and helpful service to customers on site
  • Supporting the wider transport and depot team at our Widnes site

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
  • Proven experience driving HGVs, ideally within the waste management sector
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and compliance
  • A reliable, professional approach with a commitment to teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills and a practical, customer‑focused attitude
  • Flexibility to support operational needs, including a 6am start and occasional Saturdays

What you’ll get:

  • 45‑hour guaranteed week
  • Overtime paid at £18.09 per hour (after 40 hours)
