About the Role
At Panda, we keep the country moving by delivering reliable waste and recycling services that support local communities and businesses.
We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Widnes team, operating skip and RoRo vehicles across the local area. This is a hands‑on role for a driver who takes pride in safe driving, good customer service, and keeping their vehicle to a high standard.
What you’ll be doing
- Operating HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently
- Delivering, exchanging, and collecting containers across customer sites
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and road laws
- Working safely at all times and following site, transport, and road regulations
- Providing a professional and helpful service to customers on site
- Supporting the wider transport and depot team at our Widnes site
What we’re looking for
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Proven experience driving HGVs, ideally within the waste management sector
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and compliance
- A reliable, professional approach with a commitment to teamwork
- Excellent communication skills and a practical, customer‑focused attitude
- Flexibility to support operational needs, including a 6am start and occasional Saturdays
