Responsibilities
- Lead the embedment of environmental sustainability into the delivery of local government contracts.
- Support the Local Government Sector Sustainability Lead and coordinate best‑practice roll‑outs across all local government contracts.
- Advise local transport authorities on decarbonising transport and infrastructure in line with carbon budgets and net zero targets.
- Align transport decarbonisation and climate resilience with other client policy agendas such as green energy and cost‑of‑living initiatives.
- Support the development and continual improvement of WSP's local government sustainability and transport decarbonisation offerings.
- Provide training to WSP colleagues and clients on carbon reduction.
- Collaborate with teams in Local Government and Transport.
