The Earth & Environment Proposals Team plays a crucial role in positioning WSP to win profitable business and drive growth. We work without borders to bring the best of our global capabilities to deliver the right skills for our clients.

Working with 1,500 technical specialists in more than 50 service areas, no two bids will be the same. Working on business strategic opportunities, our work is critical in delivering the objectives of our business. You will be responsible for coordinating teams through the WSP Work Winning Lifecycle, from Capture to Handover.
A little more about your role…
As a Senior Proposals Coordinator, you will be assigned opportunities which you will take through the WSP Work Winning Lifecycle. You will work as part of a larger team and support Proposal Managers in developing high quality tenders. In collaboration with business leaders, technical specialists and proposal professionals, you will coordinate: the bid programme and deliverables matrix; quality development and review process; and manage portals and uploads. You will also have the opportunity to lead non-strategic tenders as part of career development.
Alongside your involvement in leading bids, you will be required to engage in maintaining a bid knowledge library, supporting work winning improvement initiatives and supporting our ongoing drive to integrate AI and continuous improvements to all stages of the work winning lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate opportunities through the WSP Work Winning Lifecycle (Capture, Bid Prep, Qualification, RFP, Lessons learned, Handover).
- Follow WSP best practice and comply with internal governance requirements.
- Collaborate with technical leads and bid writers in the development of high scoring responses.
- Produce visually appealing responses in line with our brand guidelines.
- Support project teams in preparing for interviews.
- Proactively contribute to the improvement of collateral within our knowledge library.
- Acting as a hub of best practice and knowledge for proposals.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
- Qualified to degree level in an appropriate subject.
- APMP Foundation as a minimum.
- Knowledge of services/proposals within the Environmental and Earth Sciences discipline is preferred.
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication, with a collaborative approach.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise.
- Excellent command of English language for editing text and response writing.
- Robust project management skills with a meticulous approach to detail and quality.
- Ability to develop strong relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- A passion for quality and continuous improvement with a focus on delivery.
- A self motivated, proactive approach, using initiative and taking responsibility for own actions.
- Ability to assimilate large volumes of information and understand, plan and manage associated workflows.
- An interest in using new and evolving digital bidding techniques.
