We are looking for an Engineer to assist in the development, design and delivery of a range of transport schemes including walking and cycling, road safety, highway, and parking. Projects range from scheme development to design and implementation.

Required Experience:

  • Highway/Transport infrastructure design, low/medium cost highway design schemes.
  • Public realm design – footways/cycleways, design of pedestrian/cycle crossings.
  • Design of bus corridors/park and ride schemes.
  • Junction design – priority/signalised/roundabout junctions.
  • Road signs and markings design.
  • Parking studies and strategies.
  • Technical report for scheme appraisals.
  • Vehicle swept path analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of traffic signals.
  • Project management – design decision registers/design risk registers.
