We are looking for an Engineer to assist in the development, design and delivery of a range of transport schemes including walking and cycling, road safety, highway, and parking. Projects range from scheme development to design and implementation.
Required Experience:
- Highway/Transport infrastructure design, low/medium cost highway design schemes.
- Public realm design – footways/cycleways, design of pedestrian/cycle crossings.
- Design of bus corridors/park and ride schemes.
- Junction design – priority/signalised/roundabout junctions.
- Road signs and markings design.
- Parking studies and strategies.
- Technical report for scheme appraisals.
- Vehicle swept path analysis.
- Basic knowledge of traffic signals.
- Project management – design decision registers/design risk registers.
