A little more about your roleā¦Our Project Managers are responsible for managing the delivery and performance of capital infrastructure projects of varying size and complexity in our specialist sectors, Health and Science. Project Managers cover the full lifecycle of project delivery ā from strategic case through to postāoccupancy. You willā¦
Work with a team to manage the successful delivery of health and life science projects of varying size and complexity.
Act as a key point of contact for clients and teams related to these commissions.
Work to structured and recognised project management processes and procedures.
Proactively monitor progress to ensure that all commissions are managed in line with company values, standing financial instructions, and industry good practice, and in compliance with appropriate legislation, statutory approvals and mandatory standards.
Comply with commission execution plans, ensuring they are updated as appropriate, throughout the commission.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrateā¦
Preferably educated to degree or equivalent level in a relevant field.
Membership of a chartered institute in the construction industry (e.g. RICS, CIBSE, CIOB, APM or MICE)
Achieved or working towards a recognised Project Management qualification or chartership, e.g. APM PMQ, NEC PM accreditation, MRICs or ChPP.
Experience as a Project Manager in a construction project environment. Consultancy, health or life scienceārelated experience is an advantage.
Experience in delivering in accordance with industry delivery best practice, such as the NHS Capital Investment Manual, RIBA Plan of Work, OGC Gateways.
Stakeholder management.
A knowledge of construction contract management including standard forms of contract and procurement options.
