Working on a variety of interesting projects in the Energy sector. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive and friendly team and to help develop and lead a team in the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design.
Responsibilities
- Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; preparing engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information.
- Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients and colleagues from all parts of the WSP business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes.
- Use BIM technologies both in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant and construction.
- Fulfil Project Technician role – manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration.
Qualifications
- Gained a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience in Energy Structures as a Technician.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in the principles of ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and use of collaborative information management software.
- Experience in working with digital platforms, particularly BIM360 and its collaborative modules (Not essential, training will be provided).
- Gained strong, practical experience of using Revit in a similar building structures focused role.
- Proficiency at planning and organising workload.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Familiarity with working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
