WSP is seeking an Associate Director to lead sustainable transport projects across the UK, driving win‑win outcomes for clients and communities.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients to achieve their sustainable transport needs.
- Act as Project Director or Manager on a wide range of projects, while growing and developing client relationships.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practice.
- Oversee project budgets and financial performance.
- Prepare, review, and check deliverables within the team.
- Collaborate with the Liveable Places team, the wider Mobility team, and the wider WSP business to achieve objectives.
Qualifications
- Civil engineering degree or equivalent.
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional body.
- Proven ability to lead and manage project teams and individuals.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
- Proven experience in project management and financial control.
- Passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- Expertise in highway, transport, traffic signals, and road safety engineering.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including public sector officials and the public.
