Your Role

As a Technical Director, you will be working on a variety of projects simultaneously from a university in Scotland to a high‑rise residential tower in London, enabling innovative architectural design without compromising the fire safety of the building. You will run through design information, liaise with other WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures, present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service, and inform the design team about changes that could increase the safety of the building.

In addition, you will be supported through a bespoke professional registration programme that includes training in:

What We Are Looking For

Academic background: BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry. Role can be based from any of our UK major offices.
