A little more about your role… Working on a variety of interesting projects in the Energy sector. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive and friendly team and to help develop and lead a team in the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design. Working with an already established team of engineers and Revit/CAD technicians, you will:

  • Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; preparing engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information.
  • Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients and colleagues from all parts of the WSP business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes.
  • Use BIM technologies both in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant and construction.
  • Fulfil Project Technician role – manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…

  • An HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience in Energy Structures as a Technician.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the principles of ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and use of collaborative information management software.
  • Experience in working with digital platforms, particularly BIM360 and its collaborative modules (Not essential, training will be provided).
  • Strong, practical experience of using Revit in a similar building structures focused role.
  • Proficiency at planning and organising workload.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
