What This Role Involves
- Working on a variety of projects at once – from a University in Scotland to a high‑rise residential tower in London – enabling innovative architectural design without compromising on fire safety.
- Running through design information, liaising with other WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures.
- Presenting designs to local authorities and the Fire Service, and advising the design team on safety‑enhancing changes.
- Guided through software packages, fire standards, team briefings and client updates, while contributing to team social events.
- Assisting the successful candidate toward professional registration via IFE and other professional organisations.

Qualifications
- BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
- Can be based from any of our UK major offices.
- Commitment to achieving chartered status or equivalent professional qualifications.
