A little more about your role… WSP is looking for an experienced BIM coordinator with a strong background in using Common Data Environments (CDEs) and proficiency in CAD software for civil engineering projects. We’re looking for a skilled professional to join our water team and take on an exciting role that blends technical expertise with innovation. In this position, you’ll work with hydraulic design software and its integration with CAD tools while creating smart automations to improve workflows across multiple platforms. You’ll collaborate with an experienced team, building on your knowledge of delivery requirements and QA processes for water engineering projects, and develop your career in a cutting-edge 3D BIM and CDE environment.
As a BIM Coordinator, you’ll also lead document control on various projects, set CAD and document standards, and drive efficiency through automation and streamlined processes. If you’re eager to grow, innovate, and make an impact, we’d love to hear from you!

A TYPICAL WEEK WOULD INCLUDE
- Drawing coordination and data control.
- Creation of BIM Execution Plans for projects.
- Compliance with the BIM content standards, execution plan and project workflow.
- Performing CAD quality checks on drawings and documents.
- Developing workflows and improving the efficiency of the team.
- Creating templates and standard details for use of the team.
- Collaboration and coordination with other teams.

- Industry experience, specific to the infrastructure drainage engineering.
- A passion for digital, BIM technology and delivery and continuous improvement.
- Good communication, client handling and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in project delivery.
- Experience in 3D modelling and design coordination.
- Ability to challenge and contribute to engineering detailing.
- Experience working with EDMS solutions such as Bentley Projectwise, Autodesk BIM360 etc.
- Experience in coordinating inter-disciplinary information in a 3D environment.
- Working knowledge of BIM standards such as PASAA 1192 and BS EN ISO 19650.
- HNC/HND/Degree in engineering or associated engineering field.
