A little more about your role... As an Associate Project Manager in the Civils team, you will oversee complex projects or programmes of significant scale, providing strategic leadership, aligning delivery with organisational and client objectives, and ensuring high standards of performance across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct delivery of complex projects and programmes, setting short- and medium-term strategic direction.
- Align technical and delivery strategies across teams, ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes.
- Provide governance oversight, shaping risk, schedule, cost, and quality frameworks.
- Lead strategic stakeholder engagement, negotiating terms, and managing high-level communications.
- Drive innovation, sustainability, and efficiency initiatives across projects.
- Mentor senior project managers, supporting talent development and succession planning.
Your team... You will be part of our wider Civils team, made up of over 600 professionals across the UK and sit within our Transport & Infrastructure business unit. Your future development will be actively supported with access to WSP's full range of training, development tools and resources and be part of transforming UK infrastructure. You will integrate into our team's flexible working culture, offering a balance of home and office working, where safety and wellbeing are paramount.

Qualifications & Experience
- ChPP or equivalent chartered status; MSP or MoP qualifications desirable.
- Proven track record overseeing large, complex infrastructure or structural engineering projects.
- Strong ability to align project strategies with organisational and market objectives.

- Advanced skills in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
