A little more about your role…

Working as part of our Construction Safety and CDM compliance team of circa 34 H&S professionals nationally delivering high quality services for large national infrastructure projects, working for blue chip clients and public sector. Responsible for maintaining workload with regard to assisting with bidding and proposal writing and managing infrastructure projects with existing and new clients. Working across all sectors as opportunities arise, including those within WSP supporting our own internal design teams as well as wider external facing UK and international projects as appropriate. Being responsible for the management and delivery of your project deliverables. Working closely with your local team on projects and delivery as part of the national team in your local office (London or Birmingham) Providing assistance and input to innovative delivery solutions.

YOUR TEAM

We are a national team of health and safety professionals that manage and deliver construction safety and business safety assurance services to both internal and external clients across the UK and internationally. You will become an integral part of the national team working within regions for internal WSP teams, both local and central government bodies and large blue-chip organisations across the country. Our client base includes both public and private sectors and cover a wide range of project types including highways, environmental, power, rail, education, inner city builds and demolition. What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…

  • Experience of working in a consultancy environment, delivering construction and business assurance services.
  • Experience of working with large scale projects in infrastructure, power, rail, water and highways.
  • Delivery of CDM duties and support services as both the Principal Designer and the Client.
  • Have delivered and led audits and inspections with regards to premises and management system compliance with a track record of successful record delivery.
  • Experience of undertaking management system reviews, audits and development for client organisations.
  • Assisted with the development of commercial proposals and project set up for both new and existing clients.
  • Have relevant academic qualifications and appropriate institution memberships to demonstrate appropriate skills or knowledge to deliver the role.
  • Are a good communicator able to manage projects and people with both a team and project environment.
